Jump At It V4 review: the free 2K26 script worth learning on, not playing 2K27 with
glcrify's Jump At It V4 is a free NBA 2K26 Cronus Zen script hosted on Vertex Zens, with a paid V5 on an aggregator. We tested it, explain the OLED menu, and why it is the best way to learn a Zen and the wrong way to shoot in 2K27.

Pros
- Free (V4), which makes it the best zero-cost way to learn slots, menus and Zen Studio Live
- Interactive OLED menu (L2 + Options) is clear and well laid out
- Tempo speed control from 0 to 300 ms teaches you what an offset actually does
- Tap Shot mode on R3/L3 is a clever alternative input
Cons
- NBA 2K26 only; no 2K27 build found
- 'No refunds, lifetime updates' on V5 with no visible price and no first-party storefront
- Free hosting means no update channel: the file you download is the file you have
- Auto-green results on 2K26 trailed the paid leaders by 8 to 10 points
What is it?
Jump At It is a line of NBA 2K scripts credited to a creator called glcrify (sometimes "glorify"). V4 for 2K26 is a free download on Vertex Zens, a library site with an ad-gated free tier (five downloads a week). V5 for 2K26 is listed on Cronus Zen Central with "No refunds. Lifetime updates." and no visible price. Neither has a 2K27 build as of September 2, 2026.
The feature list is standard for a mid-tier 2K26 menu script: Auto Green with a flick-up shooting option, tempo speed control from 0 to 300 ms, a Tap Shot mode on R3/L3, dribble spams, Turbo Shots (hop jumper, turbo fade), Auto QuickStop, Meter Dunk, Defense Boost, and an interactive OLED menu opened with L2 + Options.
Why is a free 2K26 script worth a review?
Because "how do I learn this without spending $65" is a question we get constantly, and the honest answer is not the free GamePacks. GamePacks give you turbo buttons and remaps; they do not have an auto-green with an adjustable offset, so they cannot teach you what an offset is or why yours is wrong. Free vs paid →
Jump At It V4 can. Its tempo slider goes from 0 to 300 ms in visible steps. Load it, go to a free-throw drill, move the slider, watch the misses go from early to late. Twenty minutes with that slider teaches more about how scripts work than any sales page. How auto-green works →
It also teaches the tooling: downloading a .gpc, compiling it in Zen Studio Live, programming a slot, navigating an OLED menu with a modifier. Every paid script assumes you know those things.
How did it test?
Xbox Series X, 6'8" wing, standard drills.
| Drill | On NBA 2K26 | On NBA 2K27 (2K26 offsets) |
|---|---|---|
| Open threes (50) | 40 (80%) | 26 (52%) |
| Off-dribble (50) | 32 (64%) | 17 (34%) |
| Fades (25) | 14 (56%) | 7 (28%) |
| Free throws (25) | 24 | 22 |
On 2K26 it was a workable free script, 8–10 points behind Glory and MVP on open threes and further behind on everything else. On 2K27 it is a 2K26 table meeting 2K27 animations, which is what every 2K26 script does.
We did spend an hour re-tuning it for a 2K27 wing using the tempo slider and got open threes to 38/50. That is the learning exercise working as intended. It is also exactly the maintenance you pay a vendor to do for you, and it needs redoing after every patch.
What the menu teaches
The L2 + Options menu is clear: categories on one axis, values on the other, D-pad to navigate, face buttons to toggle. Three things in it are genuinely instructive:
Tempo speed 0–300 ms. The offset, exposed as a number. Move it and see what happens.
Tap Shot on R3/L3. An alternative input where a stick click triggers the shot rather than holding Square. It demonstrates that the script does not care which input you use to arm the shot; it cares about the release timing it generates.
Turbo Shots. Toggling hop jumper and turbo fade shows how a macro combines a movement input with the shot input to force an animation. Then watch the auto-green miss, because the fade has a different release point, and you have learned why per-shot offsets exist.
What it lacks
A 2K27 build. The disqualifier.
An update channel. A free file on a library is a snapshot. When 2K26 was patched, V4 was not; a new upload might appear or might not.
A first-party storefront. Everything about it, including V5's terms, reaches us through aggregators.
Documentation beyond the menu. There is no values sheet. You tune by trial.
What to do with it
Download V4 from Vertex Zens' free tier. Load it. Spend an evening with the tempo slider on free throws. Learn what a slot, a menu and an offset are. Then, if you still want a script for 2K27, read the rankings and buy one from a vendor with an update channel, from the cheapest storefront that sells it.
Do not take Jump At It V4 into a 2K27 Rec game expecting anything but bricks.
The usual caveat
Free or paid, a script is an unauthorized third-party tool under 2K's Code of Conduct for Fair Play, with penalties up to a permanent account or device ban. Ban risk →
Verdict
Jump At It V4 is the script we hand to someone who has just bought a Zen and wants to understand what a script is before spending $65. It is free, its menu is a good teacher, and it will not green a 2K27 jumper. Use it to learn. Buy a 2K27 script to play.

FAQ
- Is Jump At It free?
- V4 is hosted as a free download on Vertex Zens (added April 2026), behind the site's ad-gated free tier. V5 is listed on Cronus Zen Central without a visible price.
- Does Jump At It work in NBA 2K27?
- It loads, but its offsets are for NBA 2K26 jumpers. On 2K27 it greened about half of open threes in our test. There is no 2K27 build.
- Who is glcrify?
- The creator credited on the Jump At It listings. Sometimes written 'glorify'. We found no official site; the scripts surface through aggregator libraries.
- Why review a free 2K26 script?
- Because it is the best available answer to 'how do I learn what a Zen script is without paying for one.' That is a real question and the free GamePacks do not teach auto-green concepts.
- Is it safe to use free scripts from aggregator sites?
- Free files from a library with a named creator are a different thing from leaked copies of paid scripts, which we do not link to. All of them are unauthorized third-party tools under 2K's Code of Conduct.
