Custom timing per build in NBA 2K27: generator vs menu vs values sheet
Three ways NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen scripts get your build's offset into the file: a web generator (yew2K), an OLED menu (Green, Dynasty, Prime) or a values sheet (Avenged MVP). What each costs you in time and accuracy, with a worked example.
Why per-build?
An auto-green script holds the shoot button for a duration matched to a jumper's release point. That release point depends on your MyPlayer's height, the release speed you chose in the Jumpshot Creator, the animation itself, and your setup's latency. Change any of them and the correct duration changes by tens of milliseconds, which is the width of the green window. How auto-green works →
A vendor cannot ship one value that fits every build. So each vendor has a method for getting your build's value into your file.
Method 1: The generator
Used by: yew2K. Green and Hoops have "Generator" tools that do related things.
You go to the vendor's site, fill in a form — height, release speed (from the Jumpshot Creator), sometimes wingspan or jumpshot base, and a latency number — and download a .gpc compiled with those values. Load it into a slot. Done.
Time: About ten minutes per build, plus the latency measurement the first time.
Accuracy on first try: The best of the three. In our testing a generated yew2K file greened 88–92% of open threes before any manual adjustment.
What you give up: Transparency. You do not see the offset; you see a form. If a fade is missing you regenerate or use the menu, but you cannot reason about the number. And each build is a separate file, so three builds means three slots. yew2K review →
Method 2: The OLED menu
Used by: Green, Prime, Dynasty, Prodigy, cronus.gg Auto-Green (limited).
You load the vendor's file, open the on-device menu with a modifier (typically L2 + Options or similar), navigate to a shooting or timing category, and enter values with the D-pad. Vendors publish starting values per build in their guide or Discord; you fine-tune from there.
Time: 30–60 minutes per build to reach the generator's first-try accuracy, because you are adjusting by trial. Dynasty's web programmer narrows this by generating starting values you then refine.
Accuracy after tuning: As good as any method, and more adjustable, because every value is exposed. This is why menu scripts posted the best fade numbers in our drills once tuned.

Method 3: The values sheet
Used by: Avenged MVP V8 (2K26). Historically most serious 2K scripts.
The vendor publishes a document — a spreadsheet or PDF — with offsets per height, release speed and shot type. You find your row, enter the values in the menu, verify, adjust. MVP's guide (v7.0) is the best example: per-build tables, a latency method, a troubleshooting flowchart.
Time: An evening for three builds.
Accuracy: Depends on the sheet's quality and your patience. A good sheet plus verification gets you to the same place as the others.
What you give up: Time, again. What you gain is understanding: after an evening with a values sheet you know what an offset is and why yours is what it is, and that knowledge transfers to every script you ever use. MVP review →
Method 0: No tuning
Used by: Hoops, metas, most free GamePacks.

Read it two ways. The generator wins on time-to-result. The menu and values methods converge on the same result with more effort. The preset gets close on this average build and would not on a slow-release big.

- You want every toggle and will spend the time: menu (Dynasty, Green from auto-green.gg at $50).
- You run a fixed three builds: Prime's Select Build, or three generated yew2K files in three slots.
- You want to understand what you are doing: a values sheet, even if you then buy a generator script.
