Hoops (hoopers.gg) review: the no-menu NBA 2K27 script that is $15 cheaper on the side door
Hoops is YewScripts' plug-and-play NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script. We tested it on PS5 and Xbox Series X, compared it with yew2K, and explain why you should buy it from hoopers.gg ($50) rather than yewscripts.com ($65).

What is Hoops?
Hoops is the "no menu" script in the YewScripts family. Where yew2K asks you to run a generator and Green gives you a full OLED menu, Hoops gives you nothing to touch: load the slot, pick a preset, play. The vendor's copy calls it "plug & play" and, unusually for this market, that is an accurate description.
It is sold on two storefronts. hoopers.gg is a single-product site listing Hoops at $50 with a $100 compare-at price. yewscripts.com lists the same script at $65 with a $90 regular price. We bought from hoopers.gg, received a file, joined the Discord, and could find no difference from what yewscripts.com buyers received. A near-identical product called "metas" is also sold at metas.gg, with pricing hidden inside an embedded checkout we could not read.
What does it do?
- Pre-tuned auto-green. A single release offset per preset, chosen to cover the most common build shapes in that mode. There is no per-build tuning.
- Presets. MyCareer, Park, Rec, Pro-Am. The differences are mostly which macros are armed by default.
- Macros. Infinite stamina, Auto Dribble chains, Quick-Stop, Defense Boost.
- Weekly updates. The same cadence as the rest of the family. A v1.3-compatible file appeared the day of the patch.
That is the whole feature list. It is short on purpose.
How did it test?
Same rig and drill set as every review (how we test): Cronus Zen 2.2.14, Zen Studio Live, PS5 over Zen LINK, Xbox Series X wired, shot meter off, Set Point cue.

PS5 over Zen LINK ran 4–6 points lower on every drill, as with every script we tested; that is Remote Play latency, not Hoops.
The pattern is exactly what you would expect from a single-offset script. Open catch-and-shoot on average-release builds: within a few points of yew2K. Slow-release centre: it starts to slip. Fades: noticeably behind, because a fade's release is later than a set shot and one offset cannot cover both. Hoops is a Rec guard's script.
What does "no menu" cost you?
Two things.
First, you cannot fix drift. When a patch shifts a jumper's timing by a few milliseconds, a menu script lets you nudge the offset in thirty seconds. Hoops waits for the vendor's next file. In our window that was fast, but you are dependent on it.
Second, you cannot specialise. If you play a 7'0" centre with a slow release and shoot from the post, Hoops's average offset is not built for you. yew2K's generator is.
For a lot of players neither matters. If you shoot catch-and-shoot threes in Rec on a guard or wing, Hoops does the job and you never open a menu.
What is the storefront situation?
One vendor family sells this file under at least two names on at least three sites at at least two prices. We do not think that is malicious; single-product landing pages convert better and the vendor is running a lot of them. But a buyer who searches "Hoops 2K27 script," lands on yewscripts.com and pays $65 has overpaid by $15 for the same thing, and nothing on that page tells them so.

Should you buy it?
Read the ban-risk guide first; 2K's Code of Conduct permits permanent account and device bans for unauthorized third-party tools, and nothing about "plug and play" changes that.
If you still want a script and you want the least possible involvement with it, Hoops from hoopers.gg is the pick. It is the script we hand to friends who ask for "the easy one."
Verdict
Hoops is the script for people who want to plug in and play and never think about it again. It greened open jumpers within a few points of yew2K in our drills, needs no tuning, and updates on the same schedule. Buy it from hoopers.gg at $50, not yewscripts.com at $65. If you shoot a lot of fades or want to fix timing yourself, spend the extra on yew2K.
