Best NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen scripts, ranked (September 2026)

Seven NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen scripts with a real 2K27 build, bought at retail and tested on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Prices, platforms, pros and cons, and which ones are still 2K26 files.

By 2K Script Lab crewPublished Last updated 8 min read

How did we pick these seven?

We started with every NBA 2K script we could find a live sales page for: 26 vendors, 57 products across all games, 20 of them for NBA 2K. Then we threw out anything that did not have a purchasable NBA 2K27 build. That removed more than half the field, including some of the best-known names from last year.

The seven that remained were bought at the listed price, loaded onto a Cronus Zen on firmware 2.2.14 through Zen Studio Live, and run through the drill set: 50 open threes, 50 off-dribble pull-ups, 25 fades and 25 free throws per build, three builds, on PS5 over Zen LINK and on Xbox Series X. We repeated the drills after the v1.2 (Aug 28) and v1.3 (Aug 31) patches.

Scores are our crew's session ratings. They are consistent with each other; they are not lab data.

"Verified" means the vendor's own page or public catalog names NBA 2K27 and the file we received was built for it. "Claimed" means the page says 2K27 but the vendor publishes no version or changelog we could check against.

Green outscores Prodigy on the rubric but sits below it in the list because it duplicates most of yew2K; if you are already buying #1 you do not need #5. The list is a buying order, not a pure score sort.

1. yew2K — the complete 2K27 build

$64.99 one-time · https://www.yew2k.com (product page at https://yew.gg/2k) · PS5, Series X|S, PC

yew2K is the only script in this group that was clearly written for 2K27 from Early Access rather than patched over from a 2K26 file. The vendor's public catalog lists it at $64.99 and its docs say the GPC shipped for Early Access on August 26.

What separated it in testing was the generator. You pick your build's height, release speed and latency, download a per-build .gpc, and it greens open jumpers at a rate the other scripts only reached after we hand-tuned their menus. Update cadence was the fastest of the seven: a v1.3-compatible file was available the same day the patch dropped.

Our complaints are about presentation, not function. The marketing leans on "AI" language that describes a lookup table. The yew2k.com landing page we loaded still showed 2K26-era product labels alongside the 2K27 script, which will confuse a first-time buyer. And the file is tied to the 2K27 cycle unless you pay for a separate membership upgrade.

2. Hoops — plug and play, and cheaper on the side door

$50 one-time on https://www.hoopers.gg ($65 on https://www.yewscripts.com/hoops) · PS5, Series X|S, PC

Hoops is the same vendor family's no-menu script. There is nothing to tune: you load the slot, pick a mode preset (MyCareer, Park, Rec, Pro-Am) and play. In our drills it trailed yew2K by a few percentage points on fades and no-dips and matched it on open catch-and-shoot threes.

The reason it ranks second rather than third is price. The identical file is $50 on hoopers.gg and $65 on yewscripts.com. A buyer who lands on the wrong storefront pays $15 more for nothing. We think a comparison site should say that plainly, so: buy it from hoopers.gg.

The trade-off is real. When a patch nudges a jumper slightly early, a menu script can be fixed in thirty seconds; Hoops waits for the vendor's update.

3. FeatureZens Dynasty — the Glory lineage, rebuilt

$64.99 one-time (compare-at $100) · https://featurezens.com/ · PS5, Series X|S, PC

FeatureZens made Glory, the script most 2K26 players outside the YewScripts family used. For 2K27 the homepage sells Dynasty as the successor, while Glory V7 (2K27) still appears on Cronus Zen Central's library with a note that it is "fully updated and tested with the newest NBA 2K27 patch."

Dynasty inherits Glory's deep shooting menu: Release Vibrator, RS Auto Tempo, Button Tempo with a stabiliser, Meter Dunk, an experimental desync counter. In testing it greened open jumpers within a point or two of yew2K once tuned, and was the best of the group on post fades. Setup took longer because the menu is where the value is.

Two things hold it at third. Delivery goes through Shopify plus a dashboard access code, which is one more step than a direct download. And Glory V7 files are being resold at $22 by an aggregator whose authorization we could not verify, which makes it hard to know whether a "Glory" file someone hands you is the real one.

4. ClipZ Aim Prodigy — mid-price, Discord-delivered

$55 one-time · https://clipzaim.com/ · PS5, Xbox, PC

ClipZ Aim sells scripts for nine games; Prodigy is the 2K27 one. At $55 it undercuts every 2K27-native build except the alt-storefront YewScripts files, and the feature list (Auto Green+, Tempo+, Dribble Assist+, QuickStop+, Defense+) covers what most Rec players want.

It lost points on friction. Purchase does not give you a file; it opens a Discord ticket, and our copy arrived about 90 minutes later. The homepage brands it "#1 NBA 2K27 Zen Script for Season 1," which will be stale on October 16. The Legacy Bundle on the same page still lists Prodigy as the 2K26 build, so confirm which file you are receiving.

5. Green — every toggle exposed

$65 on https://www.yewscripts.com/green · $50 on https://www.auto-green.gg · PS5, Series X|S

Green is the menu-heavy YewScripts option: Auto-Green variants for jumpers, fades and no-dips, Button Rhythm, dribble chains, Meter Dunk, AI Defense, and a Green Generator for first-time values. It tested within a point of yew2K on every drill.

We rank it fifth because of overlap, not quality. If you are buying yew2K you do not need Green, and the vendor does not explain the difference well. Like Hoops, it is $15 cheaper on the single-product storefront (auto-green.gg) than on the main site. The regular price of $90 is steep if the permanent sale ever ends.

6. Prime — for fixed Pro-Am rosters

$65 one-time (regular $90) · https://www.yewscripts.com/prime · PS5, Series X|S

Prime adds Select Build tuning for up to three builds, RS Auto Rhythm and Insta-Stop on top of the standard auto-green core. It is the script for a Pro-Am squad that runs the same three builds every night and wants each one dialled separately.

For anyone else it is Green at the same price with a narrower purpose and more patch-day validation. We found no cheaper alt storefront for it.

7. cronus.gg Auto-Green — the budget entry with a copy problem

$55 one-time · https://www.cronus.gg/green · PS5, Series X|S, PC

Auto-Green is a slimmer script: auto-green, infinite stamina, defense, weekly patch-day updates. The five-minute setup claim held up. It greened open jumpers reliably and was weaker than the top five on fades.

The reason it sits last is trust. The homepage tagline says "$35 once" while the Auto-Green blurb on the same page says "$55 one-time." We paid $55. Two prices for one product on one page is exactly the kind of thing we tell readers to treat as a red flag, so we cannot exempt it here.

We do not rank a script against a game it was not built for. These move up the day a 2K27 file ships and passes the drills.

What about the $22 files and the $14.99 Discords?

CzenScripts sells thirteen NBA 2K27 .gpc files at a flat $22 each, including files named Glory V7, Green, Prime and Hoops V1.5. Its own disclaimer says feature summaries are "based on the supplied script files" and that obfuscated builds are "summarized conservatively," which reads like a reseller describing files it did not write. We could not verify that the original creators authorized those sales, so we say that neutrally and leave the buying decision to you. More on CzenScripts →

A $14.99/month Discord bundle that advertises Glory, Yew and MVP downloads in one place is a different case. At least one of those vendors states publicly that no free or bundled source is authorized. We treat that kind of listing as a red flag and do not link to it as a purchase option.

Should you buy any of these?

That is a decision about risk, not features. 2K's Code of Conduct for Fair Play prohibits "unauthorized third-party tools" and lists penalties from a warning, through suspension, to a permanent account or device ban. It does not name Cronus, unlike Epic and Activision, and console-side detection in 2K has historically been weak. That is a description of the current situation, not a promise. Read the ban-risk guide before you spend anything.

If you have read it and still want a script: buy yew2K if you want the most maintained build, Hoops from hoopers.gg if you want zero menus, and Dynasty if you want a deep menu from a vendor outside that family.

FAQ

What is the best NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script right now?
In our September 2026 testing, yew2K ($64.99 one-time) had the best combination of timing consistency, update cadence and documentation. Hoops on hoopers.gg ($50) is the pick if you want zero menus, and FeatureZens Dynasty ($64.99) is the deepest alternative outside that vendor family.
Are any NBA 2K27 scripts free?
Cronus ships free GamePacks and a community GPC library inside Zen Studio Live, but none of them are tuned to 2K27 shot timing. Free copies of paid scripts circulating in Discords are redistributed files with no updates; we do not test or link to them.
Is Avenged MVP V8 updated for NBA 2K27?
Not as of September 2, 2026. The MVP V8 and V8 Remix listings we could find are NBA 2K26 builds. We review it as a 2K26-era script and will rank it when a 2K27 file ships.
Why is the same script listed at two prices?
Because it is sold at two prices. Hoops is $50 on hoopers.gg and $65 on yewscripts.com; Green is $50 on auto-green.gg and $65 on yewscripts.com. Same vendor family, same file, different storefront.
Will a script get me banned in NBA 2K27?
It can. 2K's Code of Conduct for Fair Play prohibits unauthorized third-party tools and lists penalties from a warning through suspension to a permanent account or device ban. No script is undetectable and no vendor can promise otherwise.
