Best NBA 2K27 script for Rec vs Park vs Pro-Am: the mode changes the answer
Rec rewards catch-and-shoot consistency; Park rewards off-dribble creation; Pro-Am rewards per-build tuning. We re-cut our drill data by mode and explain which NBA 2K27 Cronus Zen script fits each.
Why does the mode matter?
An auto-green script is a timer with an offset per build and shot type. How it works → The mode does not change the timer. What it changes is the mix of shots you actually take, and every script we tested has a different shape across shot types.
Here is that shape, from our launch drills on Xbox Series X with a 6'8" wing:
| Script | Open threes | Off-dribble | Fades |
|---|---|---|---|
| yew2K | 92% | 84% | 84% |
| Hoops | 88% | 76% | 72% |
| Dynasty | 90% | 82% | 88% |
| Prodigy | 86% | 76% | 72% |
| Green | 90% | 82% | 80% |
| Prime | 90% | 84% | 80% |
| cronus.gg Auto-Green | 86% | 72% | 64% |
Read across a row and you see a script's personality. Read down a column and you see which scripts fit a mode that lives in that column.
Rec: catch-and-shoot
Rec is five-out, pass-heavy, and most of your shots are spot-ups from a set position off a pass. Open-three percentage is the number that matters. The off-dribble and fade columns matter a lot less unless you are the primary handler.
In the open-three column the whole field sits between 86% and 92%. The gap between the cheapest preset script and the most expensive generator script is two shots in fifty. For a Rec role player that is not worth $15 and a menu.
Pick: Hoops from hoopers.gg at $50. Select the Rec preset, play. Review → If you are the handler and take a lot of pull-ups, move to the Park answer.
Park: off-dribble creation
Park is two-on-two and three-on-three with no five-out spacing to hide in. You create your own shots: size-ups into pull-ups, step-backs, hop jumpers, fades over a contest. The off-dribble and fade columns are your life.
Here the field separates. Preset scripts drop 12–16 points from open threes to fades because a single offset cannot cover a set shot and a fade. Scripts with per-shot modes drop 4–8. On a night of fifty fades, that is four or five extra makes.
Pick: yew2K or Dynasty. yew2K ($64.99) if you want a generator to set your build's values and the fastest update channel. Dynasty ($64.99) if you want the deepest menu and the best fade number we recorded. yew2K review → · Dynasty review → Green ($50 on auto-green.gg) is the budget version of the same idea.
Pro-Am: fixed rosters, tuned builds
Organised Pro-Am is five players who know their roles, often running the same builds every session. Here the question is less "which shot type" and more "can I have each build tuned separately and switch between them cleanly."
Two approaches work:
Prime ($65, yewscripts.com) has Select Build tuning for up to three builds inside one file. Set each once, switch in the menu. It also has RS Auto Rhythm and Insta-Stop, which organised squads use more than Rec players do. Rankings entry →
yew2K, one generated file per build, one slot each. Regenerate for each build you run, program each into its own slot, press the slot button to switch. Cleaner than a menu, uses more slots. Slot management →
We lean Prime for a squad that runs a fixed three and yew2K for one that rotates more.
What about MyCareer?
MyCareer against the CPU is where Hoops's MyCareer preset earns its keep, and where none of this matters much. The CPU does not care. If you only play MyCareer, the cheapest script that loads is fine, and honestly the question of whether to run one at all is more about how you want to play than about performance. Casual MyCareer →
Cross-mode players
Most people play more than one mode. If you split Rec and Park, buy the Park answer; it covers Rec at the cost of $15 and some setup. If you split Rec and Pro-Am, Prime or yew2K. Nobody should buy two scripts from the same vendor family for different modes; the overlap is near total.
PS5 changes the arithmetic
Every number above drops 4–6 points on PS5 over Zen LINK. The drop is roughly even across scripts, but PS5 players lose the ability to compensate with a preset script, because Hoops has no latency field. On PS5 the Rec answer shifts from Hoops toward yew2K. PS5 setup →
The usual caveat
Whatever mode you play, a script is an unauthorized third-party tool under 2K's Code of Conduct, with penalties up to a permanent account or device ban. In Rec and Park you are also using it against other people. Ban risk →
FAQ
- What is the best NBA 2K27 script for Rec?
- For most Rec players, Hoops ($50 on hoopers.gg). Rec shots are mostly catch-and-shoot from set positions, which is exactly what a single-offset preset script does best, and it needs no tuning.
- What is the best NBA 2K27 script for Park?
- yew2K ($64.99) or Dynasty ($64.99). Park is off-dribble creation: pull-ups, step-backs, fades. Those need per-shot offsets, which preset scripts do not have.
- What is the best NBA 2K27 script for Pro-Am?
- Prime ($65) if you run a fixed roster of up to three builds and want each tuned separately, or yew2K with one generated file per build in separate slots.
- Does the mode change the script's timing?
- Not directly. Shot timing is per build and animation, not per mode. What changes is which shots you take, and therefore which offsets matter.
- Can one script cover all three modes?
- yew2K or Dynasty can, with tuning. Hoops has mode presets but the same single offset behind each, so it covers Rec well and Park less well.
