NBA 2K27 script refund policies compared: what each vendor's page actually says
Digital scripts are almost never refundable, but vendors differ in how they say it and what they offer instead. We read the policies on yew2k.com, yewscripts.com, hoopers.gg, featurezens.com, cronus.gg and czenscripts.com, and note where we could not find one.
Why scripts are non-refundable
The file is the product and it cannot be returned. Once you have downloaded a .gpc the vendor cannot know whether you kept it. Every digital-goods seller handles this the same way: sale is final on delivery. That is legal in most jurisdictions for digital content once you have consented to immediate delivery, and every checkout we went through had that consent buried in the terms or the checkout button.
So the question is not "can I get a refund" (no) but "what does the vendor do when something goes wrong," and "can I find that out before I pay."
What we read, vendor by vendor
We read policies on 2026-09-02. Vendors change these; check the page yourself before buying. We did not test any policy by requesting a refund.
yew2K (yew2k.com / yew.gg). No refunds on delivered digital goods, stated in the terms linked from checkout. Support path: docs hub, then a ticket. The generator means a "wrong build" problem is fixed by regenerating, not by refund. Clearest of the group. yew2K review →
yewscripts.com (Green, Hoops, Prime) and hoopers.gg (Hoops). Same policy family as yew2K, consistent with one operation behind several storefronts. No refunds; support first. Note the same Hoops is $50 on hoopers.gg and $65 on yewscripts.com; the policy does not differ, so buy the cheaper one. Hoops review →
cronus.gg (Auto-Green) and auto-green.gg (Green). Non-refundable digital goods, stated on the product page. Support via the vendor's contact.
FeatureZens (Dynasty). Non-refundable; stated in site terms. Dashboard-based support. We found it, but it took a minute. Dynasty review →
ClipZ Aim (Prodigy). Discord-based sales. We did not find a written refund policy on a public page. Ask in the server before paying, and screenshot the answer.
CzenScripts ($22 files). A disclaimer page whose language suggests reseller or aggregator status. We did not find a refund policy separate from that disclaimer. Given that creator authorization is unverified, the practical question is whether there is anyone to ask. CzenScripts →
Vertex Zens (subscription). Subscription cancellation stops future billing; no refund of the current period that we could find. The free tier is the way to evaluate. Vertex Zens →
Avenged, Ozark, glcrify (2K26 scripts). Discord or free. No 2K27 product to refund.
"365 Scripts" ($14.99/mo Discord bundle). Looks like an unauthorized redistributor of other vendors' files. We do not link to it and would not expect any refund policy to be honoured. Treat as a red flag, not an option. Red flags →
What "wrong platform" gets you
The most common refund request we hear about is "it doesn't work on my PS5." Since Sony's firmware block, PS5 needs a $29.99 Zen LINK dongle and PS Remote Play; a script plugged straight into the console does nothing. That is a setup issue, every vendor will say so, and none will refund for it. Read the PS5 setup guide before you buy anything for PS5.
Same for Xbox headset audio (does not work through the Zen; not the script's fault) and for 2K26 files bought as 2K27 (a vendor who sold you a 2K26 file as 2K27 owes you a 2K27 file, not a refund, and the good ones will say so).
Chargebacks
You can dispute a card charge. What happens next, based on 2K26-era reports: the vendor revokes your dashboard or Discord access, often bans the Discord account, and contests the dispute with the delivery log. Issuers frequently side with merchants on delivered digital goods where the buyer consented to immediate delivery. You may get the money; you will certainly lose the script and the vendor. It is a last resort for an actual non-delivery, not a return policy.
Checkout platform matters a little
Vendors selling through Whop or a comparable platform give you a second dispute channel with the platform's own terms. Those terms still generally treat delivered digital goods as final, but non-delivery and misrepresentation cases have a process. A Discord payment link or a direct crypto transfer has nothing. Between two otherwise equal vendors, prefer the one with a platform behind the checkout.
Before you pay
- Find the refund policy. If you cannot in two minutes, ask, and screenshot the answer.
- Confirm your platform (PS5 needs Zen LINK) and your build type against the script's stated support.
- Confirm the file is 2K27. Patch tracker →
- Screenshot the order confirmation and ID.
- Test with twenty free throws the same day so any "it doesn't work" conversation happens while the vendor still remembers your order. Buyer's checklist →
The usual caveat
A refund policy governs your money. 2K's Code of Conduct governs your account, and it prohibits unauthorized third-party tools with penalties up to a permanent account or device ban. No vendor refunds for that. Ban risk →
FAQ
- Can I get a refund on a Cronus Zen script?
- Almost never once the file is delivered. Every vendor we checked treats scripts as non-refundable digital goods. Some offer replacements or support instead. Read the policy before paying.
- What if the script does not work on my console?
- Most vendors will troubleshoot rather than refund. Check platform support before buying; PS5 in particular now requires Zen LINK over Remote Play, and a script that 'does not work' on PS5 is usually a setup issue the vendor will not refund for.
- Can I do a chargeback?
- You can try, but vendors typically respond by revoking access and, for Discord-delivered scripts, banning the account. Card issuers often side with the merchant on delivered digital goods. It is a last resort, not a plan.
- Which vendor has the clearest refund policy?
- The YewScripts storefronts (yew2k.com, yewscripts.com, hoopers.gg) had a consistent, findable no-refund policy for delivered digital goods with a support path. Several smaller vendors had no written policy at all.
- Is buying through Whop or a similar checkout safer?
- Slightly, because the platform has its own dispute process, but the platform's terms still generally treat delivered digital goods as final. The vendor's policy governs first.
