Before you pay

1. Does the page say NBA 2K27, with a date?

Not "NBA 2K," not "2K26," not nothing. A 2K26 file loads in 2K27 and misses. yew2K's changelog dates its GPC to August 26 Early Access; Hoops, Green and Prime were updated during the Early Access window; Dynasty and Prodigy by launch week. Avenged MVP V8, Champ V4, Jump At It V4 and Vertex Zens Green AI had no 2K27 build on 2026-09-02. Rankings →

Xbox Series X|S and PC are straightforward. PS5 requires a $29.99 Zen LINK dongle over PS Remote Play since Sony's firmware block; a vendor page that says "plug the Zen into your PS5" is out of date. PS5 setup →

3. Does the tuning method fit you?

Generator (yew2K): fastest, one file per build. Menu (Green, Dynasty, Prime, Prodigy): most adjustable, more time. Preset (Hoops): nothing to do, worse on non-standard builds. If you have a 7-foot slow-release centre, do not buy a preset. Generator vs menu → Big men →

4. Where will updates appear, and how will you know?

Dashboard or generator (YewScripts products, Dynasty) survives losing Discord. Discord-only (Prodigy) does not. Download-link-only (CzenScripts) usually has no update path. How vendors ship updates →

5. Did you find the refund policy?

Nobody refunds a delivered script. The check is whether you could find that out in two minutes. If not, ask and screenshot. Refund policies →

6. Did you compare storefronts?

Same script, different price:

ScriptStorefrontPrice (2026-09-02)
Hoopshoopers.gg$50
Hoopsyewscripts.com$65 (reg. $90)
Greenauto-green.gg$50
Greenyewscripts.com$65 (reg. $90)
Auto-Greencronus.gg$55
Primeyewscripts.com$65 (reg. $90)
yew2Kyew.gg/2k (https://www.yew2k.com)$64.99
Dynastyfeaturezens.com$64.99
ProdigyClipZ Aim (Discord)$55

Same update, same file, different checkout. Buy the cheaper one. Hoops vs yew2K →

7. Is the price inside the band?

Creator prices for 2K27 run $50–65 one-time. $22 for a file with a famous name (CzenScripts) means reseller or aggregator, authorization unverified. $14.99/month for a bundle of other people's paid scripts ("365 Scripts") means redistribution; we do not link to it. CzenScripts →

8. Does the page say "undetectable"?

If yes, stop. Nobody outside 2K knows what 2K detects. Red flags →

9. Is there a changelog?

With dates. "Updated for latest patch" with no date is not one.

10. Do you have what the script needs?

A Cronus Zen on firmware 2.2.14. A USB cable that carries data. Chrome, Edge or Brave for Zen Studio Live. On PS5, Zen LINK and a PC. Optional: a second controller for tuning sessions. Cronus Zen vs Titan Two vs XIM →

11. Have you read the Code of Conduct?

2K's Code of Conduct prohibits unauthorized third-party tools. Penalties escalate: warning, suspension, permanent account or device ban. There is no Cronus-specific statement and no casual-use exemption. If you buy, you are accepting that. Ban risk →

The first hour after you buy

12. Screenshot the order and save the file

Order ID, confirmation email, the file itself renamed with script, build and patch version. Generator users: save your form inputs.

13. Program it, name the slot, check the mode

Zen Studio Live, firmware 2.2.14, slot 1, named by build. Check the OLED shows the shooting mode on. Fallback slot for later. Slot management → Troubleshooting →

14. Set the game

Shot Timing on (Shots Only unless you have tuned layups), Shot Meter off, Visual Cue chosen and written down, controller layout matching the script's shoot button. Settings → Meter →

15. Twenty free throws, then write it down

Log early versus late, adjust in 5 ms steps until balanced, then the drill set for your real shots. Write every value, the cue, the meter setting and the patch version on a note. Do this today, while the vendor still remembers your order if something is wrong. Free throws → Setup mistakes →

If you only read one line

Buy a script that says 2K27 with a date, from the cheapest storefront that sells it, with a dashboard for updates, and spend the first hour on free throws. Then read the Code of Conduct again.

The usual caveat

Every item on this checklist is about buying an unauthorized third-party tool well. It is still unauthorized under 2K's Code of Conduct, with penalties up to a permanent account or device ban. Ban risk →

FAQ

What is the first thing to check before buying a 2K27 script?
That it is a 2K27 build, stated with a date on the vendor's page. More than half the 'NBA 2K' scripts we looked at in launch week were still 2K26 files.
How much should a 2K27 script cost?
Verified creator prices on 2026-09-02 ran $50 to $65 one-time: Hoops $50 (hoopers.gg), Green $50 (auto-green.gg), Auto-Green $55 (cronus.gg), Prodigy $55, yew2K $64.99, Dynasty $64.99, Green/Hoops/Prime $65 on yewscripts.com. Far below that band, ask why.
Do I need anything besides the script?
A Cronus Zen on firmware 2.2.14, a data USB cable, and on PS5 a $29.99 Zen LINK plus a PC for PS Remote Play. Xbox needs only the Zen and cable.
Which script should a first-time buyer get?
Hoops from hoopers.gg at $50 if you want plug-and-play on an average build; yew2K at $64.99 if you want per-build tuning via a generator and weekly updates. See our rankings for the full comparison.
Is any of this allowed by 2K?
No. 2K's Code of Conduct prohibits unauthorized third-party tools, with penalties escalating to a permanent account or device ban. Every purchase is at your own risk.
